Joan Jordan is being pressured by Sevilla to find a new club this summer, despite the player being contracted until 2027.
Sevilla sporting director Victor Orta has made it clear that Joan Jordan is not in the club’s plans, despite the player being contract until 2027, but finding a new club is the best solution for all parties, according to UFABET on Monday.
Jordan has been with Sevilla since the summer of 2019, having signed from Eibar and is contract to Sevilla until 2027, but the club are looking to offload the 30-year-old this summer. ‘They have been inform that they are not part of the project, we respect their contract but it would be better for them to look for other options,’ Orta said of Jordan and the player’s representatives.
Jordan had previously been report to have cut short his holiday in order to return to work and try to impress new manager Francisco Javier Garcia Pimenta, but Orta has reiterated the club’s stance.
‘The club has informed Jordan’s representatives of its intentions. We think his cycle is over. It’s very clear to him, they knew it before the final game of last season against Barca. His representatives met with the club and it was very clear to him.’
